Section—II

(a) What are the limitations of financial statements?

(b) Draw a common size statement with imaginary figures.

(c) What is financial reporting? Explain its advantages.

(d) Elaborate the items of sources of funds.

(e) Elaborate the nature of financial statements.

(f) Distinguish between investing and financing activities.

(g) Prepare schedule of changes in working capital with imaginary figures.

(h) Explain the concept of shareholders’ funds.

3. Answer any five of the following questions : 10×5=50

(a) What is comparative statement? How is it different from common size statement?

(b) What is income statement? How is it prepared? Give the format of income statement.

(c) What are different types of financial reporting as per the Companies Act, 2013?

(d) Prepare a Cash Flow Statement of Lotus Ltd. on the basis of the following information :

(e) “Window dressing is a means to hide material facts.” Explain this statement with shortfalls of window dressing.

(f) Elaborate reporting regulations in India with regard to companies and partnership firms.

(g) Prepare a Funds Flow Statement of GHS Ltd. on the basis of the following Balance Sheets drawn on 31st March :

(h) “Funds Flow Statement reveals funds movement accurately.” Do you agree? Give reason to your answer.

(i) Who are the interested parties of financial analysis? Discuss in detail.
